Scabiosa on a grand scale
16-11-2005 16:41 Scabiosa 'Grand Stone' is an impressive 2006 introduction bred by Pieter van Steijn.

A cross between the classic 'Clive Greaves' and a white variety of Pieter's own breeding, 'Grand Stone' wows with 3" flowers formed from ruffled lavender-blue petals around a large centre.  

With strong stems and longlasting flowers, as you might expect from a cutflower breeder, 'Grand Stone' is a quality garden plant.
