Exciting new Astilbes for 2007!

13-06-2006 10:46 While you're anticipating the 2006 summer of gardening, Darwin PlantSpotters is already looking to the future with 2 very special new Astilbes.

Astilbe chinensis 'Diamonds and Pearls' and Astilbe 'Heart and Soul' are two spectactular new varieties that you should be able to obtain from your Darwin PlantSpotters supplier next year.

Not only do these plants shine with class and dazzle with their beautiful colours, but they're also strong growers due to being bred using plants from the A. chinensis species.

Both varieties are bred by Dutch Astilbe specialist Harrie Verduin.

Harrie Verdiun is very happy with A. 'Diamonds and Pearls'!

As we've already been to visit Harrie, we thought we may as well whet your appetite for his new offerings by telling you all about him.
