New Piet Oudolf Echinacea for 2006

28-09-2005 14:37 'Fatal Attraction' is an intensely coloured plant with a delicate appearance.

Intense purple-red flowers are borne on thin, though very strong, near-black stems.

The strong colouring is in juxtaposition to the delicate look that the thin stems impart.

As with Piet's other Echinacea, 'Fatal Attraction's petals fan outwards rather than drooping.
