The following varieties were bred by Chris Ghyselen and are listed in the RHS PlantFinder.

 

Persicaria amplexicaulis ‘Dikke Floskes’ (Fat bottlebrushes) has thick purple-red flower spikes. Grows to 150cm (60”).

 

Persicaria amplexicaulis ‘Red Baron’. Somehow this got incorrectly listed in the PlantFinder as simply P. amp. ‘Baron’.

 

Persicaria amplexicaulis ‘Fine Pink’ is a strong plant growing to 130 cm (52”). It is very elegant with fine, pale-pink flowers on long spikes which often divide at the tips.

 

Persicaria amplexicaulis ‘Pink Mist’ is a strong plant with an airy structure bearing many fine, pale-pink flowers.

 

Persicaria amplexicaulis ‘Fascination’ is a strong 150cm (60”) tall plant with salmon-pink flowers on long spikes which divide at the tips. One of the earliest blooming Persicarias.
