Situated in the heart of Hollands bulb region, and just a stones throw from the famous Keukenhof tulip gardens, Piet Zonneveld has 4 hectares of land devoted to production growing of Agapanthus, plus a few rows in his fields put aside for other perennial genera, including the unusual Echinacea Indiaca.

But its the Agapanthus that take centre stage. 40 different varieties are grown commercially at the nursery, although when you take into account all the seedlings in the breeding area that number soars into the hundreds.
