New Giant Parisienne
23-06-2005 16:57 A huge new addition to the 'Parisienne'series could be available in 2007.
By Miriam Young

Papaver orientale 'Moulin Rouge' has enormous rich pink flowers.

Here you can see just how big they are compared to an adult holding a 2 Euro coin.

A 2 Euro coin measures 1", so 'Moulin Rouge' is an astounding 7" accross.

These plants have the same robust quality and strong stems as the other Parisiennes, which is just as well!

You may ask why a flower called 'Moulin Rouge' is pink rather than red. Eleonore chose this name as a reflection of the grandeur of the flower and its celebrated Parisienne namesake.
