Densely packed clusters of pale yellow-green buds encased in chocolate-maroon bracts open into smallish flowers with a never-seen-before colour scheme.

The flowers may be white or pale pink with pale chartreuse-yellow petal ends. This is the first time any kink of yellow colouring has been seen in Phlox, and Jan Verschoor is justifiably excited about this plant, not only for itself but for the possibilities it presents for the future.
